The Berwick Upon Tweed Digital Model
Civic group Better Berwick commissioned a digital twin to coordinate its regeneration. They wanted a user-friendly way of engaging with residents, the public sector and entrepreneurs, making it easier to visualise problems, solutions and opportunities and coordinate and win bids.
Working with a smaller but ambitious entity gave us flexibility in exploring the use of EU satellite data to build the digital twin thanks to the use of a space agency grant! It was this that enabled a town of just 13,500 people to start its digital journey.
