Our brief

Create a 3D model to enable South West Water to communicate complex water management information and co-create a Natural Catchment Management Plan with local stakeholders.

Digital Urban delivered

Digital Urban created a 3D model showcasing the complex water management landscape of St Agnes in Cornwall.

We then used the digital twin to create a video taking locals on a journey through the complex challenges SouthWest Water face to balance social and industrial use of water. All this in a landscape where the historical economic reliance on mining is having an impact on the current economic reliance on tourism, in terms of the land’s ability to drain water.

We had just two weeks to deliver the initial project and our added-value included scripting the video and engaging a local radio presenter to record the narrative to help South West Water showcase its local community commitment.
