The Wirral Digital Model is successfully helping the council by bringing together ideas for changes from different sources.
It is also communicating these future town and infrastructure changes to committee members, internal staff, and stakeholders.
The digital model is proving to be a valuable tool in planning their investment programme, allowing everyone involved to make better choices for their 2040 vision.

Wirral Borough Council is delighted with their Digital Urban model for Birkenhead. It is proving to be a real asset, helping staff, senior members and councillors all to engage in the development and design of major regeneration projects and masterplans. As we continue on this path the digital model will prove its value further helping us to deliver our ambitious programme for the regeneration of Birkenhead as part of the Birkenhead 2040 vision

Thank you to Digital Urban for providing an impressive 3D model for Wirral Council, the digital model was used to support our £45m Towns Fund application to Government. We used the digital model to create a video as part of our submission allowing us to demonstrate the scale and ambition behind our regeneration programme in Birkenhead. His team worked efficiently and produced extremely high-quality work against a demanding programme.
We look forward to continuing to work with Simon and his team, bringing our regeneration delivery areas to life for residents, stakeholders, Members and officers.
