We love sharing our passion for using technology to broaden engagement and we were delighted to wow a school-full of Year 6 students) in Stoke-on-Trent this week.
The lucky students at Reginald Mitchell Primary School were taken on the Virtual Reality magic carpet ride we created for Folkestone & Hythe District Council as well as using our urban explorer software to take on quests and explore a 3D town in a way that we know will engage and interest them and inspire conversations.
Just like grown-ups, they LOVE experiencing how we use gaming technology to tell stories in new ways.
Our schools’ sessions are part of Digital Urban’s social value commitments. Not only do they broaden civic engagement when used by our clients but they encourage young people to consider a career in construction via gaming technology skills and as a STEM Ambassador, Digital Urban’s senior advisor Sharon Dempsey was proud to receive feedback from year 6 teacher Sanah for her and our founder Simon Mabey’s session,
